Jill taught us this great new technique for making our own tissue tape to add to collages. You lay pieces of maksing tape on clear acetate and then color them with gesso and acrylic ink mixed together. After the tape dries, find a favorite rubber stamp to stamp on the tape. Voila. Here's a piece Carole Carlson did putting her tape over an oversized black and white xerox of a sunflower. She said it was inspired by the woven rugs we saw at Teotitland de Valle.
