You never quite know what you're going to find at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Oaxaca. Last time I saw a slew of Goya prints (depressing)with a contemporary artist reinterpreting them (kind of sly and witty), an in process performance piece with bowls of water (maybe not bowls of water, memory is a funny thing, good idea to keep a journal) and then upstairs some film loop of naked folks wearing bull masks prancing about this edgy contemporary art gallery. Ever changing exhibits, performance space, gift shop & more. It's right off the zocalo if you're in the mood .
