One thing I love about running a tour in Oaxaca is I can go to a restaurant and ask them to design a tasting menu just for us. You'd be surprised how many say yes. And so it was at El Destilado who started me off with this lime/cucumber mocktail. We had a magnificent rooftop meal and then all ran inside just as dessert was served (some kind of burned cacao and strange uber ripened fruits) and a rainstorm approached.
